Jesse Powell Invites Canadian Police to Iran Bitcoiner’s Lesson

Tidbits is a collection of talks from the cryptosphere. Jesse Powell is offering to assist the Canadian police in investigating the death of Quadrigacx CEO Gerald Cotten as well as the movement of funds. Cdaemon, an Iranian redditor teaches the r/btc network how to keep his crypto safe.

A helping hand

Jesse Powell, Kraken CEO has offered to help the Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigate Quadrigacx CEO Gerald Cotten’s death and the loss of his private keys. Powell continued to say that Kraken knew thousands of Quadrigacx’s wallet addresses.

Cotten’s death elicited mixed reactions. Some people believe Cotten actually died while others believe he faked his death. “I am Nomad,” a commentator, pointed out that death is common among the backwoods Indians. Powell dissatisfied by this response, and was still suspicious of Quadrigacx’s problems with crypto withdrawals and fiat in the month prior to Cotten’s passing.

Ken A, a Twitter user, posted a video in which he showed how a person could easily buy a fake death certificate from India for only 25,000 rupees (450). Powell was shocked at how easy it was for him to get an official-looking, yet fake death certificate from India.

It is so much work. Hopefully, the paperwork will be available.
